Brighton Shule was established in 1949 to serve the Jewish Community in Bayside and the Glen Eira neighbourhoods of McKinnon and Bentleigh.

 

The current congregation premises including the events hall (formerly the shule) and cheder school were established  in 1967 and later expanded in the 2000s to form one of the most iconic shules of Melbourne.
